When Harry Caray was a White Sox announcer in the 70's he shilled for Falstaff. That was before he turned to the dark side.As an underage outlaw I tried all the cheap beers but when I had an extra buck in my pocket it was Colt 45 or Schlitz Malt.
I have to assume that the Colt tasted better then than it does now.
Back then our grocery budget was $20.00 per week -- which included that case of beer !!! mamablogger
I am surprised it was that much.
