A Surprising Discovery, Part Two

Click any photo for larger.

Gerry had a surprising discovery in the form of a Morel mushroom in his yard. The other day I also had a surprising discovery, although of quite a different sort.
That is a wing of some sort of bird, I am guessing a hawk. The wife told me about this thing that was laying right by some drain valves at some property I own. It was quite a curious discovery. One of my daughters and I looked around in a decent sized radius but no other part of the bird was to be found. I can only assume this bird was walking around and got attacked by a fox or coyote or died midair, and the predator decided to leave part behind while bringing the meat back to it's lair for later consumption. I would like the readers to tell me what sort of bird this is off of. I could use my google-fu to find out, but I bet we have smart enough folks here to just let me know in the comments.

Here it is spread out.

Not sure but hawk would be a good guess.

Last autumn I watched as a hawk was ripping the guts out of a squirrel near where I found that morel. It was too dark to get a photo but what a sight.

Funny you mention that, I saw the same scene here at work a few weeks ago, except the hawk was eating a rabbit. Only think left the next day was fur.
