Congratulations Ann

Dan is a co-resident of Madison with Ann Althouse and I saw this article today and photo on the front page of the business section of the NEW YORK TIMES. I didn't know that they even acknowledged that the we existed out here in the midwest. Congratulations! And the title is very flattering
Commoner captures princess, blog version

What woman wouldn't want to be a princess, for a day at least?

It's odd to me when people meet online with romantic intentions. Dangerous as well.

Yes but they met in person later and were both of similar ages and both professionals.

I think as people move more and more of their lies online this will become common, or at least not exceptional.

But it certainly isn't the norm.

This is a very interesting story to me since I know Ann and have had several email conversations wtih her and met her a couple of times. Her future husband was actually a commenter on her blog, they emailed a few times, met, fell in love, etc.

Ann is an extremely nice, interesting, and gracious person. I wish her all the best. By the way she has a gigantic (relatively speaking) readership with interesting commenters.
