Last night was the Earth night here in Chicago when they turned out the lights for an hour. I found it slightly ironic that the next day we had a big blizzard here in Chicago, and we have been sorely lacking in any of the promised rise in temperature with another brutal winter.

Earth Hour? Didn't even know about it. Surprising as Madison is usually the epicenter for things like that.

Oh yeah I forgot. I read somewhere that earth hour actually uses MORE energy from the way our infrastructure is constructed, since it is harder for it to fluctuate any large amount, but I am no expert on that for sure. Regardless, it is stupid and will make zero difference in the long run.
