Carl has written a couple of short posts on the popularity of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I would have to agree that they are one of the most popular sports teams in the nation.
This is an interesting stat - 15 of the top rated 16 shows in Pittsburgh this year were STEELER GAMES - and it would have been 16 of 16 if the other game wasn't pre-empted by Hurricane Ike coverage.
The Packer fans up here are rabid, of that there is no doubt. But from what I have seen and heard, they may be one-upped by the Steeler fans.
