I have put up a poll on the sidebar, and will leave it for a week. Vote as many times as you want, and you can vote for more than one album. Not sure how many times per day you can vote.
Just having some fun from the last discussion and testing out the blogger poll feature. Our traffic is far too small for any poll I posted here to have any real significance.
That said, VH covered "You Really Got Me" on their first album. Their recordings of any significance basically ended for me at 5150.
Roth covered a Louis Prima tune AND a Beach Boys tune in his post-VH days. The videos are outstanding. Try and avoid looking at the delicious half-nekkid wimmens in them.

ha ha glad you are using the newest technology for the highest purposes
You better believe it. I think you can only vote once per day. I guess we will find out soon enough.
haha I just voted for VH2 again from my wife's laptop.
Hahhaaaha! You crack me up...
Gosh, wonder who voted for Fair Warning?
Has Van Halen ever covered any ZZ Top songs? Man, I bet they could really cook on a version of 'Just got paid today" or maybe 'Francene'.
I can't vote, because I'm not familiar with their music. Are you trying to attract a certain type of audience here on your blog?
Didn't Van Halen cover a Kinks song?

The funny thing about this blog is that we aren't trying to attract traffic at all.

Dave was the face of Van Halen. Van Haggar was good but the original Van Halen was far better because of Roth. Album 1 and album 2? I say both.
Roth projected three things that VH music was all about.
1. Women.
2. Hot women.
3. Lots of hot women.
Party on.
Not only do we not try to draw traffic, we intentionally drive it away by fooling the google with misspellings.
Didn't Mel Torme cover a VH song? I can't think of which one. Help me out here.
Mel Torme was a serious gun collector.
VH = best band out there. Although I won't lie: I prefer Van Hagar any day over Roth.
