Cincinnati Bengals fans Abandon Ship

The Bears aren't the only team to have a miserable season. While driving through northern Kentucky (really a suburb of Cincinnati) I saw this bus with the "Who Dey?" slogan on the side... all made up in Cincinnati Bengal colors.

Some dedicated fans? I thought so.... until I noted the "for sale" sign in the front window of the bus.

Cincinnati Bengal fans abandoning ship...

Man the Bears are toast. They need to revamp the entire offensive line, we need a running back, a qb, someone to replace Lance Briggs at the end of the year, and can use another safety to replace Archuleta whose best days are clearly behind him. This is, unfortunately, a several year project. We need to lose out to get a better draft pick.

the state of the bears deserves another post you should make one not just a sad comment atop an equally sad bengals post :)

I think I will wait until for this disaster to be over then write some sort of epitaph.

I wish it was like scrabble where we could just keep the "hester" chit and throw the rest back in the pile and re-select (Briggs is gone anyways)

Actually, funny as it sounds that is damned good strategy. We would also want to keep a few others, namely Tillman, Vasher, Urlacher, Harris, Gould, Moose, Berrian, Kreutz, Olson, Maynard, Anderson, Hillenmeyer, and PERHAPS Ogunleye, Idonije, Tait, and what the hell Orton for a solid third string qb.

I also say they should give Orton another shot here in these last few meaningless games.

As you said, everyone else goes back into the free agent hopper.

Sadly Briggs will be gone, certainly to a team where he will wreak havoc on the Bears next year. He is going to command big bucks, probably the leagues highest or second highest paid LB.
