Well, the Brewers showed the signs of a winning team yesterday. After a heartbreaking loss at Wrigley on Friday to the hated Cubs, yesterday they came back and destroyed them, winning by more than a touchdown. Today is the rubber game of that three game set.
Look at the logjam at the top of the standings! Four wins are all that separate the top six teams. Of note lately are the very hot Indians, Tigers and Brewers.
I had no clue that the pool would be this close - the smaller winnings show it too.
The standings:
1. PSL Dave (Red Sox) 49 wins
2. Snakeye (Indians) 48 wins
3. Dan from Madison (Brewers) 47 wins
4. Craig (Tigers) 46 wins
4. PS Indy (Mets) 46 wins
5. Graphix (Dodgers) 45 wins
6. JohnnyJ (Cubs) 39 wins
7. John (Yankees) 37 wins
8. Carl from Chicago (White Sox) 34 wins
Total winnings if the pool stopped today: $50

Well, we're almost halfway through the season and I'm surprised by the "standings." The Cubs sucking isn't a shocker, I should have picked my hometown team: The Mariners...
I've gone to 5 games in the last 10 days that included a "welcome back" Griffey Jr tribute and a very exciting 3 game sweep of Boston...The Boston fans were pissed, it was sooo SWEET.
Cubs topped the Crew today, putting them 6.5 behind - with all the $$$ they spent, I bet the team management is pissed off. Good for the M's sweeping the BoSox.
Shoot, another sixer I could have won off of you for the series...Dang it!
