That's right folks, the title says it all.
The Police, after 25 years of apart (The saddest day in rock n' roll) have decided to get together again and embark on a World Tour.
Let's see, Andy Summers, the guitar player is 64, and Sting and Copeland are pushing 56 each.
But who cares about their age right Midwest readers? As long as "Der Stinger" is crooning "Roxanne" to hundreds of thousands of fans, well, it takes us all back.
And Midwest readers, lest you think The Police will cheat you out of an appearance, they have already booked Wrigley Field (Yes, Wrigley Field no less) for July 5 &6. Heck, even the Cubs gave up a scheduled night game for The Police.
I mean, can it get any better than that? For $150, with 40,000 of your compansions, you too will be singing along to "Every Breathe You Take" and you'll feel none the worse.
By the way Carl, do you know of any Police cover bands we can see that night?

Geez, the price people pay for nostalgia...
I once wanted to hire a G'n'R (Guns and Roses) cover band for a party but we couldn't afford them SO, we ended up getting: Guns and Roses.
(old joke).
I'd rather go see the cover band as well.
