The line has been USC by 14 from the start and really hasn't moved much. All I have heard is how the Illini are going to get beat down. I would be happy if we cleared the spread. But we could win - heck we have "disappointed" the ESPN guys and plenty of other columnists this year. Right, Pat Forde?

Go Illini!

We had some opportunities there... in the first half there could have been some turnovers. Then we had that rush at the start of the 2nd half where we had some momentum only to see it all die.
Oh well, next year our guys will be that much better.
Yes we had some opportunities, but the fact of the matter is that we were up against a MUCH superior team. Those guys were insane. Anyway, we will be BETTER next year and will return with some unfinished business. Who would have thunk we would be in the Rose this year anyway? Still sucks to get blown out.

My observations. The officiating sucked. Illinois could have won, turnovers killed them and they should have run more. Southern Cal players have no class. Pete Caroll is one smug MoFo who I just cannot stand. He ran up the score to gain points in the final standing, good luck with that one. The Trojan music constantly playing in the background is most annoying. Next year, maybe. JMO.
