Read something unbelievable today . . . .
Barack Obama, the Junior senator from Illinois, made a statement in the Chicago Tribune that just dumbfounded me today.
Senator Obama said, "I will wait until the elections are over before I decide how I could be the most useful to the country."
My God, what arrogance! I know he's on the cover of Time and all but now, he must really believe that he's Jesus! He's just waiting for Americans to beg for him to run for President. He's the Savior to all of our problems . . .
I wrote about Barack Obama several months in this Blog. At the time, I pointed out that he hadn't passed a single bill in the Senate. He has a 100% liberal voting record (Nothing has changed on this front). Yet it seems the mainstream media is making this guy to be a rock star. And I don't why. Why do I, why do we need Obama right now? What will he save us from?
My guess is that media is setting the stage for 2008. Everybody knows that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic candidate. What better choice as a running mate than Barack Obama! The mainstream media will do everything it could to push this duo to America as "mainstream." Hilliary and Barack, two folks who are in touch with our problems and the ideas to solve them. Lucky us.
I dread the next two years. Especially during the campaign year of 2008. I'll write more on 2008 later.
