Why? Why not? Given what's happened to Mel, he needs our love and forgiveness now more than ever. I mean, after all, look at his life. Its tough being a multi-millionaire movie star. The daily stress of living the life every day. I mean, come on. Its easy to see why a guy would have to have a drink or two.
Can I make a prediction? Do I see a trip to the Wailing Wall and the wearing of a Prayer Shawl in Mel's future? You bet I do! In the mean time, drop a note to Mel with your support. After all, isn't that what Jesus would do.
(On the other hand, I think if Jesus tied down a bottle of wine, he wouldn't be ranting about how he hates the F****** Gentiles, but what do I know?))
