The cemetery at Normandy. Each little white dot is a cross. From this site, which is very interesting. It has photos from all of the foreign US cemeteries from all wars. Sadly I think there aren't more of these in the Pacific simply because the islands there are not big enough to hold the volume of dead (i.e. Tarawa, Okinawa, etc.). Please take a few moments today to honor our dead (a good way to do this would be to browse the above web site) and if you see a vet today, thank them for a job well done.
